On a '77 140 the trim and tilt worked perfect last March. Today when I brought the motor to life the TT motor ran really fast and the trim raised up slow and the tilt didn't raise at all. Figured it was low on juice so I topped it off and still no results, Trim still raised but no tilt. I raised the LU by hand with a chain fall and topped off the fluid like the book sez and the tt ,motor ran good but no action on either the trim or tilt.. Opened the bleed screw and the tilt lowered but the trim cylinders didn't budge. Still in the high trim position.
Is there a separate bleed for the trim cylinders?? Almost acts like something is air bound.
PS motor runs well but in the trim up position.
Advise??
