Question for you OMC gurus. I have an 85hp 1976 Johnson 85el760 and a Evinrude 140hp 1977 140743S. Anyone know the approx. weight of each?
I guessing the 140 about 300# and the 85 around 270????

According to my OMC service manuals:
85EL76 269lbs but 85ETLR is 296. Both are 20" models.
77 book only specifies generic weight, also 269 lbs. Does not specify which model.
I assume nearly identical if both have trim or about 27 lbs for trim.
