TOPIC: Evinrude 61 Lark lll engine question

i have a Lark lll that I think needs to have the screen changed
in the glass bowl on the carb its very flat,and discolored, is this normal? Ran it last season
and at the end of a small cruse in a no wake area I lost power in engine.
coasting to dock. engine would crank but wouldn't start, 1/2 hr later it fires up
and made it back to launch. where can I buy this screen for this 2 stroke bowl,
note, my fuel lines and supply are new. thanks guys

In the first pic, there is some white gunk in the bowl. Did you maybe get a little water in the fuel?

will flush system, bottom of bowl white is reflection of white screw,
the glass sides of bowl may have something on it,

Yeah, I see that now. I have an old '59 35hp and I tried to get that screen out of it but it sort of fell apart on me. It's basically just a strainer more than a filter. Good luck with it.
