TOPIC: 1964 Johnson 90 controls with trim

1964 Johnson 90 controls with trim 7 years 3 months ago #133211

Looking for controls for my 64 Johnson 90 h.p with tilt/trim. Was checking to see if anyone had one they were wanting to get rid of.

I looked at marineengine.com and the control group breakdown listed 379657 as the part # but it does not look like it has the tilt/trim switch. It would be ok to wire in a switch on the dash or steering wheel correct?

Yes. The first tilt systems used a switch on the dash. Not even sure tilt & trim was an option in 1964. You might be able to get creative with a modern handle grip with the button in the side.

I will get those controls from you and do a switch. I will e mail you when I'm ready to see if you still hace them.
