Picked up a 1956 lark and a 1961 lark lll . they both have controls and wiring. they turn over and look to be in good shape. i was on craigs list very early one morning, couldn"t believe what i was reading. 1956 and 1961 larks , don"t need them come get them "FREE". called the guy at 6am and he said there yours. hooked up the trailer and loaded them up. he also threw in 2 new solec manuals. the 56 is a 30hp and the 61 is a 40hp. should keep me busy this winter.

Super good deal!! And they are looking nice too. I had a 1956 Lark and it was one of my best running outboards.

That 56 is great! Even has an accessory water ski rope pintle on the skeg!

Its like the old saying, early bird gets the worm, in this case the motors!!!! I guess getting up at 4:30 am to get ready for work paid off !!! I do most of my searching early in the morning whlie drinking coffee before i leave for work. Sure enjoy searching , much more then work, but its funny how you have to work to feed your habit !!!! I do feel lucky , that was a deal!! madbohunk safe boating

If you need parts for that lark 3 I have it for free the whole motor.let me know before it go in the metal recycling bin.
