TOPIC: Ford Y Blocks

Ford Y Blocks 2 years 7 months ago #146613

I have a 1962 Glastron Sabreflite.
According to what I have been able to research - there were four models - essentially different horsepower levels.
Does anyone know how to determine which horsepower level was in a particular build?

I do not have the provenance for the boat and the motor that came with it may have been refitted by a prior owner.

Thanks,

Pete.

I suspect pictures of the motor and maybe any numbers on the motor may get more responses.

Your engine is almost certainly a 292 delivering 193 HP.
