Any chance of adding Jet drive to this catagory? pretty much falls under this catagory in my opinion, and beings there are plenty of other sites that run a jet drive only catagory (which we only find modern and newer equipment covered in them) I feel for us old relic worshipers would benifit much from the addition of this coverage to this forum... Thanks in advance... Shake aka Joe

Cool boat, never had a jet but always keeping eyes out for a free one.
Nice classic Gator trailer also.

That's a very cool boat however, a jet drive is a STERN DRIVE without a propeller. A direct drive has a stationary propeller shaft pushing water past a rudder. Nothing is bolted to or hangs out past the transom.

Mercruiser made a jet, back in the 70's. 400 HP with a 454, it was beautifully made and designed, but was canceled after a year or so. A real shame as this thing was a pure knockout.
