TOPIC: NEED longshaft 1st generation Homelite

NEED longshaft 1st generation Homelite 13 years 2 months ago #48151

to ALL,

as of today, i have found myself to be the proud new owner of a 1960/61 GLASSPAR CITATION, that i would like to power with a first generation HOMELITE 55.

should you have such a longshaft OB, which is surplus to your needs, please advise.

thanks for reading this.

4stroke,

those are F models - i'm looking for a FIRST GENERATION (prererably a 1961 model.) to match a 1961 Glasspar Citation runabout that i've "fallen heir to".

thanks, satx

satx,

I think you need to re-read the ad, the engines for sale are 1963 "George Jetson" type first generation. He has two "F" models he wants to concentrate his time on therefore has no time for the '63's
Here is a picture of one of the two he has for sale, the "F" in the background is not for sale.

Billr,

YEP. that's what i'm looking for for the 1960-61 Citation (i cannot tell which year the runabout is for sure, but it the trailer was first licensed in the spring of 1961.). - i think that it, with a Homelite 55 on it & with both restored, would be as nice-looking a rig as there is around here.

thanks for the pictures.
