TOPIC: Cannot find telltale water outlet

I have what I believe is a 63 homelite on 61 glasspar.
Model 460A2B
Serial 1639303

There is one hose on the exhaust side above the manifold that is hooked up but none on the starter side of the engine. Mine has a hose that is not hooked up. My question is there supposed to be one coming out the starter side? Does someone have a picture of where it might go or a schematic?

I was just given this setup from my father in law not in the best of shape to say the least. Let's just say she has a name now "THE HORNETS NEST" lol.

post a pic of your powerhead both port and stbd side.
you might have the cooling update kit installed, or you might have a later powerhead installed. a pic is fastest way for me to help you.

Through the years it has been moved to different locations. I've found it at the bottom of the manifold below the bottom carb, or at the bottom or top of the cooling jacket cover on the manifold side on the various model years I have here.
