TOPIC: The most expensive & fastest Bearcat 55

The most expensive & fastest Bearcat 55 13 years 4 months ago #39435

I thought those of you "55" fans might enjoy seeing this auction. The engine is mine, and I built it when I had way more money than sense. I have much more $$ into the engine than the asking price, if you can believe it. Frankly, I'd love to hear it run someday.

WOW! So why don't you make it a reality and fire it up and use it. Seems like a waste for someone else to get the glory. It's tempting...............!!!!

Would love to see this machine run one day B) Wonder what kind of speed -and fuel consumption- it would get compared to a 55.
Nice work Bruce!

The only other....Cool.....crosley I ever saw was a flat 8, ya 2 of these motors bolted together with 1 crank. . Can you turbo charge one of these? I had a bearcat 55 I used in Venice florida, It was slow but it only used a few gallons all night of trolling for snook from stump pass to the jetties,25 mi? Somebody is gonna have a very nice motor, Good luck on the sale
