TOPIC: Just got my first Bearcat

I picked it up on cl for $200 witha stand. It appears to be pretty clean and the guy says he ran a compression check and it had 140 on all cylinders. He is retired and need more space to work on his car that he runs at Bonneville Salt Flats (VERY nice 41 Nash). I plan on putting it on my 56 Glaspar Del Mar. I have a 1978 Evinrude 75 on there now but wanted something a little more of the period. Great site and I look forward to learning alot here.

Welcome aboard, Duggski. Sounds like you got a great deal, be sure to share some pics with us when you get a chance. (We'd love to see some shots of your Del Mar too, BTW!). Just holler if you need any help getting her going, I'm sure the guys here would be glad to lend a hand if needed.
