TOPIC: Fate of Economy 4 Cycle Marine

Jumped on the web and noticed the Economy 4 Cycle Marine website was missing. Looks like Ed finally called it quits and his business was bought out, now Zemp 4 Cyle Marine in a nearby location. End of an era, but hopefully Zemp will continue the support and service of the Bearcat: zemp4cyclemarine.com/

Zemp did not survive the business downturn during COVID and is no longer in business. The Powersports shop that bought him out sent all of the used motors and parts they acquired to the scrap recycler. The new owner has no interest in working on Homelites and Bearcats.

Sorry to hear that. I guess I hope the new owner fails also.

looks like zemp is gone also unless you know of a contact # as i have a few of these homelite that need parts waterpump/impellers thanks Dwight 941-626-3110

What a damn shame, I talked to Ed when he told me he had sold the business and at that time he had at least a dozen rebuilt blocks, ready to go, and some irresponsible idiot, throws them in the scrapyard!
