That's 14 year old me, piloting my brothers new 1960 Glasspar G3 on Cass Lake, Michigan. This is a frame capture taken from an 8mm short film. I can still see my brother, standing on the dock, using my windup, Kodak movie camera to film my return to the marina.

As far as I know this is the only picture of his boat that exists...

Does anyone have any idea as to what the front, navigation light looked like and/or who made it?

The different dealerships that rigged to new g-3 put a variety of different bow lights on.
Find a really cool retro one, and go with it.
If you track down pictures of the Florida Glasspar Club's G-3 gatherings you'll find lots of pictures to study for such choices, and there are some great step-by-step restorations in this forum.

Agreed.... I enlarged pic of my bow light thats on at least 2 of my g3's, it looks to be the older type thats a bit tall, not the lower profile newer style. I'd think the lower profile one would look better on a g3 but I'll keep mine

Is it possible to restore my front navigation light asm? Mines a bit pitted and dull...
