Hello, I picked up this boat and trailer for the hauling a few months ago. The boat is not much more than an empty hull (plus controls) right now -- the inboard and outdrive are gone, as are the seats. The deck isn't in great shape, but the boat still looks pretty sharp from the outside. It's fiberglass (made by Fiberform in Spokane in 1969 I believe) but looks kind of like a wooden "lapstrake" construction from a distance.
I went and got this mostly for the trailer. I was looking for a "small, cheap" trailer for a 12' aluminum rowboat and brought home this "large, free" trailer instead. My plan was to chop up the boat and part out what I could, but I haven't quite had the heart to yet.
Is this boat worth finding a home for? Seems like it would be a big investment before someone could get it back on the water. I've had a lot more interest in the windshield and nameplates than the boat itself so far -- would that the best fate for it?
