TOPIC: I have a Span america Buccaneer in my shed.

We recently purchased our dream property and in an old nearly falling down shed there is an old fiberglass boat. The hull tag says it is a Buccaneer, the license says it is a 1971 but I'm not sure if that is accurate. I can find precious little info on this boat. It has a 1995 40 horse johnson on the back with now lower unit. Looks to have the original seats and cable steering set up. Anybody with some info on these span boats? I will need to move it this spring to deal with the old shed.

Welcome aboard pbennett, glad to have you join us. There's some info on Span America boats in the Glassic Library here, but it ends with the 1966 year models. Many times the license / registration info is inaccurate.

Yes. I think its in too good of shape to destroy.
