TOPIC: 1953 FEATHERCRAFT VAGABOND???

Friends,

I've found what I believe is the remains of a 1953 FeatherCraft Vagabond, "sitting out in the weeds" near Castroville.
(The hull is sound but has NO interior except the bare aluminum.)

Does anyone have a GOOD photo of the interior of the 1953 FeatherCraft line, from which I can try to reconstruct/restore the boat to as near original as possible.

I also belong to this website since I have a Feather Craft HawkII. You will find what you are looking for right here. You can search the catalogs that are posted on line, or even ask a member for interior shots. You will find that there are many changes not only year to year, but within years.

Now, I see that you were on that site earlier. I would suggest that you post a request on that site for interior pics of a 53 DR and you should be hammered with them.

(It's NOT a Vagabond, though it really is a 1953 model. A 13 foot DELUXE RUNABOUT - ImVho, the TX P&WD's info is more often WRONG than correct. = Should have known better!!)
