TOPIC: 1959 Feather Craft Clipper

After 2 years I finally put the old girl in the water. I swapped the 1980s Merc 90hp that came on it for a '62 700. Lots of work still to make things right but it sure feels good to get it off the trailer and use it as intended. Didn't sink and made it back to the ramp under its own power... a good day.

Looks great under power! I've got 4 mid 50's to early 60's lumie classics. I am still looking for a Clipper in my neck of the woods. Have always loved the lines on that boat- one of the prettiest of the era. Congrats on yours- I'm sure it felt good to get in in the water!
