With apologies to those who've seen these pics before on the old site...

The red boat is a 12ft 6in, British built Windboats of Wroxham 'Pearly Miss', built around 1960/61. Is a copy of the Duratech Sealine 13ft. Unusual for a lumie, it has a moulded grp deck. Is a nice rough water boat and is used in the sea of the south coast of UK, with a 1971 Merc 400 twin on the back.

DIXIE, my '59 Lone Star Malibu is self explanatory. She's original, complete with the original seats filled with rotten coir (mothballed in favour of plain painted plywood) She's powered by a 1960 Merc 400 and gets noisy and uncomfortable on anything other than flat water, but is good for 37mph. DIXIE was left behind by a US serviceman owner, on the original trailer (now doing duty for a 1953 3 point hydro), so is probably the only one in Europe...some day I'll track down that tag..

Chirombo, no apologies necessary, you have two gorgeous boats there, Pearly miss is realy cool!
The Malibu should be rated for 45hp? so the Merc 400 is a great match.
