TOPIC: new boat

hi all i haven't posted much here , but i just want to let you aluminum guys that i picked up a 1965 crestliner sea scout, it is in very good condition, no dents or tears in the hull. should be a simple strip and repaint. needs the normal interior ,and also a windshield. i'll post some pix when i figure out how. thanks for letting me breg about my new boat, frog

i will take some pix tomorrow and try to post them, don't expect a show piece. now i have to find a engine for it. iam thinking 40 to 50 hp . frog

1965 crestliner sea scout, 14 ft closed bow, rated for 50 hp long shaft. this is my 2nd try to post pix. frog can not get it to post, will try later

That's a real nice boat! Looks even better and if you don't have to restore it? You're a lucky man if all you have to do is clean it up and fix a few items. - Einsteinlivesintexas

thanks einsteinlivesintexas, iam going to repaint it and found the correct seats for it, just have to take them to the shop and have them redone in the right colors. still need a windshield and motor. i will not get a very good start on it this fall, plan on getting all i need and hit it hard next spring. frog

Great looking project! A heads up on multiple pic posting.... Once you add a pic and click submit, go back to the messege and click edit. Then add another pic. You have to do that each time you want to add an additional pic. The system doesn't let us upload multiples at one time. Hope this helps!
