TOPIC: 1957 Duracraft

Aquiring my fathers boat. Hope to restore it. It's been in family 30 yrs, but other than this pic I haven't seen it in 20 yrs. He says it is a 57. Closest pic I can find of how I remember it's original paint is a 58 add. Below are the pics. Found one of the bow handle fin ornaments to put back on. Going to be a good project. Pretty much new everything. On the hunt for any pics of what the original seats would have been like. At least more than what the add shows. I remember it being blue and white like in the add.

Hope to learn a lot about restoring this boat. I sure have fond memories going fishing with dad in it.

Nice boat! I’ve acquired a 1952 Duracraft from my wife’s aunt. I plan to restore it it’s original look as well. One of these years anyways. Any updates on your restore?
