It really is the last thing I need but this was going to be scrapped if I didn't rescue it. I did get a reg with it and it says 1957 Grumman. I have looked everywhere I know of but cannot find much if any info on it nor is there any tag on it with any info. What model is it? what HP was it rated for? The guy I got it from said they had a 50 Johnson on it many years ago. The transom has been extended and a good job was done but they way it was done I am not sure the wood could ever be replaced. Anyone have any info at all?

I have 4 builders and 2 that need to go away. The 2 Tin ones really should not have been bought but the Traveler was just to bizarre to walk away from and this new one just kinda happened by accident.
As you can see that is what I needed your trailer for,not that it will be on it long, I hope to have that one running in the water on my lift next week.

The Grumman looks like a Deluxe Runabout model. I found some info in the Classics library and old catalog pics.

Wow, that's very interesting stuff, and I thought that "foiling" was a relatively new technology. Those uppity America's Cup catamarans thought they were high tech and all. Lol. Really cool stuff.

I guess what through me off was the center steering on mine and the lack of there ever being any on the front section or the lack of ever having had a windshield.
Thanks that helps and now I get it.
Would be fun to find a set of those foils.
