TOPIC: Ok You Aluminum Freaks...It's Free!!!!!

I do mean freak in a good way!



Is anyone interested in a '59-'60 Starcraft Holiday? It's free, with trailer, no motor and the tires are shot. But, It's a good solid boat! The wood needs to be redone and it's complete minus the motor ( I got the motor ). The hull is white and the deck is turqoise. It even has what looks like to be an original AM radio!! The antenna is in the fore deck. I just don't have the space for it, or I would snap it up!! Don't let this one go to the scrap yard!!! It's a very doable boat. The hull is very solid, there were no dents or damage that I saw, it's just been in the elements for a while. The Holiday is the boat on the right in the attatched brochure, he said it was an 18 footer. Nice big lapstrake hull with plenty of room. Jim I'd love to have it, (the wheels are turning - park 'n hide at work, etc.) just don't have the funds to make a trip to PA anytime soon. Trying to get the two Granddaughters ready for school to start again. Man, I hate to see that thing go to the scrap yard!

yes i did get it. thanks again for the heads up on it. it is a massive, impressive and nearly all original craft best i can tell. just a very substantial boat. wouldn't be afraid to take it anywhere!

i am getting a big v4 75 omc gas gobbler next month, am hoping to get the interior re-worked over the winter and have a big tough boat for next year! i had a picture of it but cannot find it on this computer.

you were the guy who got the mark 78 off of it? surprised you didn't snag the boat! about as straight as you could hope to find.....

Yeah Jon, I got the motor!! The boat was too sweet to send to the crusher....I'm glad you saved it! From what I saw, it was complete and very straight, I saw no damage. Good for you man!! I just don't have the room for it. But, it went to a good home. We want pictures!!!!! Keep us posted...........
