Getting ready to replace rivets in a 16 ft smokercraft and I not sure what type of rivet to use . I have worked on aluminum aircraft and have replace a lot of rivets but have used a lot of different solid rivets from soft A rivets to heat treated frozen rivets . I can buy rivets from Spaenaur aluminum alloy no 1100.f(2-s) which seam softer than standard aircraft rivets. Anybody know the proper type ?
Thanks Hodgify

Are they not Olympic rivets, like what's used on Airstreams?

If the rivets in your boat now don't have the tell-tale dimple in the center of the head, then the softer 1100's are likely what you have.
