IT'S FINALLY OFF!!!!



Th must have filled those bolt holes with 3M5200. This one was a serious pita to get out.



So it's just hanging around in my garage for the time being.



Need to replace these bolts, as well ...



Very glad to have that off at last. I should have my heat gun this week, and then I'm off and running to remove the bumper ... should be lots of laughs.

3M 4200 for stuff you may want to get off someday. 5200 for stuff you never want to touch again! I learned that the hard way...

Hey, Frank! Had to pound the snot out of that rod to get it through the transom, so guessing 5200. Good stuff.

I bet you did! I put some h.d. 3/8 SS double leg transom rings in early on, after I replaced the transom, then wanted to take them off for some reason. After a couple whacks with a 10 sledge I gave up. I didn't want to screw my new transom up.
