Yeah, got lucky... I just happened to find a free listing on FB Marketplace when it was 4 minutes old. The owner had always wanted to restore it and when I sent him a picture of my Texas Maid Astro he loved it. We'll be keeping in touch with the progress.

I'm a novice to vintage runabouts but have been a boat nut for decades. The shine in the photo is from a fresh coat of water. If I can't bring the gelcoat back, I may have to paint it. Also needs a transom and a floor which is mush. Looking forward to it though... love these oldies!
